| Once you have learned the basics of obedience, all
sorts of possiblities will open up to you and your dog. As of January 2007,
80 H.O.T. Dog Households owned 199 dogs, from every breed group as well as a variety of
mixed-breed dogs. These HOT dogs are
involved in almost every conceivable canine sport and activity. Some activities are
designed to demonstrate the dog's intelligence and athletic ability; some test the very
characteristics inherent to their breed. There is competitive obedience, tracking and agility for you to consider. You may want to try canine freestyle, herding, hunting or field trials.
